I'd like to discuss my idea in personIf you are unsure of exactly what you're looking for, or would just prefer to meet face to face before committing, you can book a consultation. It's a free appointment, generally up to 30 minutes, where you can come in and see the studio, check the vibe, discuss your ideas and ask whatever questions you might have. I generally require that any coverups, reworks, or large scale pieces come in for a consultation before booking an appointment, but they can be for any sized project upon request! If you'd like to book a consultation, please let me know what your availability generally looks like, and I'll find you an available time around that.

Do you do walk ins?Very rarely! I operate as a private studio, so I have typical hours that I work, but not guaranteed ones. So if you're trying to get a tattoo today, your best bet would be to try and contact me first so you don't waste your time heading down in case I'm not there, or already busy tattooing someone else. You can click the chat button at the bottom of the screen to reach out directly!

I want a price estimate on a tattooPrices vary largely based on size, placement and detail In order for me to give you a rough estimate, I need: 1. a description of the idea, along with any reference photos that you might have in mind. 2. an approximate size (palm sized, hand sized, measurements, etc.) 3. your preferred placement for where you'd like to get the tattoo If you have a particular budget that you're trying to work within, feel free to include that as well, I'm happy to let you know what I can do to accommodate when possible. When reaching out about a price, please make sure to include the information listed so that I can get back to you with some helpful information!

How does pricing work? Hourly or by the piece? My pricing starts at 150 plus tax - that is the minimum that I can charge for any tattoo regardless of the size in order to make sure that I can cover the cost of the supplies required to set up for each client, and the time that it takes to draw and prepare for the appointment. Aside from that, typically most tattoos that can be finished in one session are charged by the piece. This is typically things that are going to be 4 hours or less. Anything that's going to be more than 4 hours, will be charged hourly at 175 plus tax an hour. I will always give a price estimate before you book so you have a reasonable expectation of what you'll need to pay to have it finished. However, the larger the tattoo, the harder it is for me to give an accurate estimate. I do tend to over estimate just to be on the safe side, but there is always the possibility that it could take longer than originally expected. I take payments by EMT or cash only at this time.

I want to get tattooed by you but I don't know what to getNo problem, just reach out with what information you do have! I have plenty of pre-drawn pieces and flash for you to pick from if you want! However if you're looking for something custom and you're not quite sure where to start, reach out and we can set up a time to chat. I've got a pretty good process for narrowing things down and am happy to take the time to work with you to find something that works if I can!

How do I book a tattoo? In order to book an appointment, a deposit will be required. Deposits are typically $100 and come off the price of the tattoo when it's finished. I don't take on every style of work, so before you pay a deposit, I need: 1. a description of the idea, along with any reference photos that you might have in mind. 2. an approximate size (palm sized, hand sized, measurements, etc.) 3. your preferred placement for where you'd like to get the tattoo 4. your availability for appointments If you have a particular budget that you're trying to work within, feel free to include that as well, I'm happy to let you know what I can do to accommodate when possible. Feel free to send along the information listed above if you'd like to inquire about booking an appointment. Thanks!

I want to get tattooed by you, but I'm not sure if your interested in the style of work I'm looking forAll tattoo inquiries from all people are welcome! The only time I might decline a request is if I don't think I'm suited for the tattoo or capable of doing your idea justice - in which case I would do my best to recommend someone who might be a better fit!

What's the deposit for?I take deposits when booking appointments so that in the event that you change your mind about the tattoo, I am still partially compensated for the time spent preparing and drawing for the appointment. The deposit is not an additional fee. It simply goes toward the cost of your tattoo when it's finished. So you can look at it as a partial payment towards the tattoo up front, and then you pay the remaining balance at the end of your session(s). Deposits are non-refundable, so please make sure you are certain that you are certain about your idea, and that you are physically and financially prepared for the tattoo before you put any money down towards it.

What if I need to rebook? If you rebook with more than 48 hours notice, your deposit will get carried over to your next appointment! You can rebook your appointment two times, with adequate notice. After two times, if you need to rebook again, your deposit will be lost an another will need to be paid to rebook. This is also the case if you give less than 48 hours notice to rebook. I honour deposits only up to 6 months. So make sure that before booking or committing any money, that you're prepared to get tattooed within that timeframe. This limited window exists because pricing and circumstances can change over time, and I do my best to honour whatever price we agreed upon when starting a project when a deposit is still on file. I do my best to be as reasonable as I can with these policies. As long as you're upfront and keep up communication, I will try to be flexible and make accommodations when I can!

Can I see my design before my appointment? As a general rule, I do not send designs out before the appointment. I have found that any changes are much easier to discuss and change in person as opposed to sending information back and forth over email/messages. Because of this, I will always book additional time at the beginning of any session where I am starting a new piece to give you time to make any changes and adjustments to the design. Do not be afraid to be picky with your design, or the placement of it. You won't hurt my feelings: it's my job to make sure you're happy with the tattoo and we won't start until you're 100% happy with it. As long as the changes that you're looking to make are within the scope of what was discussed originally, there should be plenty of time to make changes to your design. However, if you show up looking for something completely different and I do not have time to redraw this new idea, you will be rebooked at the loss of your deposit. - If it is the case that you're getting a large scale piece that needs to be custom fit (full sleeves, back pieces, etc) and I know that I will need more time to draw any changes, I can book a consultation for a week before your scheduled appointment so that you can come in, see the design and size it up before finalizing it. This can also be offered with other projects, even if they aren't large scale, for a small fee. So if you're anxious about not seeing the drawing before hand, let me know and I'll do what I can to help accommodate!

Every artist has a different process. What can I expect when I book with you?The full rundown of the service I provide looks a little like this: 1. You reach out in whatever way is convenient for you. I have many methods by which you can contact me, including contact forms which automatically will collect all the information I need in order to book you in, which is generally: - a description of your idea - a rough idea of size (measurements in inches, preferably, but they don't have to be exact) - your preferred placement (specifics, if possible, like inner forearm) - your availability for appointments (generally which days and times work for you, not specific dates if you can help it) - budget if you have one - reference pictures if you have them (ideally something that demonstrates the idea, and another from my portfolio to demonstrate what style you're looking for, and if you're looking for a cover up/rework/add on to something make sure to include clear, well-lit photos) With that info, most things can be booked directly online. If not, we would schedule a time for you to come in for a consultation and continue the conversation in person. 2. Once I have that info, I will reply and let you know a rough price estimate for the tattoo, along with my next available date. In order to book the appointment, a deposit will be required. It's generally $100, and it comes off the price of the tattoo when it's finished Once we agree on a date, I will send you information on how you can pay a deposit to hold the appointment time agreed upon. 3. Once the deposit is paid, I'll put your info into my calendar and send you a message confirming that you're booked. After this point, you likely won't hear from my personally until your tattoo appointment unless you reach out with specific questions. I do no send out designs ahead of the appointment. 4. Two days ahead of your appointment you will get an automated email from my scheduling system reminding you of your appointment. I require 48 hours to rebook appointments, so if you need to rebook, that would be the last chance to do so. In that email you will also get a link to fill out a consent and release form in that email, which you'll need to fill out before your appointment starts. There will also be a list of things that you should do over the next few days to prepare for your appointment. 5. At the time of your appointment, you'll come in, we'll take a look at the design that I have prepared. You get the chance to review it and give me any feedback or any changes that you'd like to make. Once it's approved, I'll make a stencil and we'll place the stencil before starting the tattoo It's important to note that I book at least an extra hour for every single appointment. So no matter how big or small your tattoo is, no matter how many changes you want to make to the design, or to the placement of the stencil, we have plenty of time and we will not start the tattoo until you're happy with it. So please know that it's not inconvenient in the slightest for you to speak up something doesn't look or feel 100% right before we start. 6. Once you're 100% happy with the design and placement, we start the tattoo. I use a massage table for my clients, so with the exception of a few placements on the body, you'll be laying down while getting tattooed. You can bring whatever comfort items you'd like for while you're getting tattooed including sweaters, blankets, headphones, snacks, a friend, etc. You're more than welcome to stop, take breaks for the restroom, snacks, repositioning, stretching, etc. at any time throughout the tattoo process. Just give me a heads up and I'll make it happen. 7. After the tattoo is finished, I'll clean the skin and typically let it sit for a few minutes to allow the tattoo to continue to weep a little before taking some pictures and bandaging the tattoo. If you prefer not to have pictures taken, please just let me know! 8. Once the pictures are done, I'll bandage up your tattoo and explain the aftercare process. I typically use a second skin bandage (I've been using the Hypafix brand lately), but I have many alternatives for aftercare if you have a preference and will happily discuss options to find one to suit you. 9. After you're bandaged up, I'll take the remaining payment for the tattoo by cash or EMT. If your tattoo is finished, I will deduct your deposit from the total after taxes. If it's not finished, and we need another session to finished, the deposit will be carried forward to hold your next appointment time, and would come off at the end whenever it's fully done. 10. After your session, you'll get an email sent to you automatically that includes the aftercare information so that you have the full run down of instructions on hand in case you forget any part of it. 11. After about a month or two, you can expect to get an email from me checking in and asking how your tattoo has healed up and asking for some healed pictures. They don't have to be glamorous photos by any means, this is just something that I do to make sure that I'm seeing how my tattoos heal frequently and to make sure that you're totally happy with the final product, so if there is any issues whatsoever, please let me know at that point - if not sooner. You get one free touch up within 6 months of the tattoo being finished if needed, so if there are any issues, we'll book a touch up to get it all sorted out!
